Lila DobbsÂ

Lila Dobbs, a New York native, graduated from Hampshire College in the spring of 2006. There she received her BA in literary journalism and cultural studies. She also holds a degree in non-fiction writing from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine.
At present, Lila lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn where she works and resides within the documentary arts collective, UnionDocs. She is also the program assistant for the Six Points Fellowship, a project committed to supporting and empowering independent Jewish artists.
In her spare time she enjoys making radio, ice cream and riding her bicycle though not all at the same time.

Amber Cortes

Amber Cortes is an independent radio producer based in Brooklyn, NY.
She has worked for The Village Voice, PBS, The Documentary Campaign
and numerous other feature length movies and documentaries that have
appeared on HBO, Showtime and The History Channel.
She fell in love with radio while listening to Sound Portraits by Dave
Isay, and has been producing news reports and documentary features for
WBAI in New York City and nationally for Free Speech Radio News.
She has managed to squeeze in some adventures such as boating through
the Panama Canal in 2005, and exploring Mayan pyramids while
backpacking through Central America.
